Franchisee Annette Durham of Pomona proudly celebrated 7-Eleven’s 91st Birthday and the grand unveiling of her newly remodeled store with a fun-filled community event. The celebration featured special appearances by the Ganesha High School Marching Band and Guard, the Pomona Police Department, and the Top of Human Society Pet Adoption program, bringing together local organizations and residents for a memorable day.
Guests enjoyed a variety of activities, including prize giveaways, food sampling, apple bobbing, balloon toss competitions, ball and bucket toss games, coloring activities, and the crowd-favorite Men’s Wet T-Shirt Contest. The event highlighted the spirit of community engagement and showcased the strong partnerships that make Pomona such a vibrant and connected city.

A Customer Awareness and Voter Registration event was successfully held at Franchisee Annette Durham’s Store #13945 in Pomona, bringing together community leaders, local residents, and 7-Eleven representatives. The event was attended by Pomona Mayor Elliott Rothman, SEI Market Manager Tammy R., and SEI Franchise Consultant Dennis U., all of whom supported the initiative to encourage civic engagement and community involvement.
During the event, a special announcement was made regarding a $500 donation to Project A Game, reaffirming the organization's commitment to supporting youth development and educational opportunities within the community. The event served as a meaningful opportunity to connect with customers, promote voter participation, and strengthen community partnerships.

Franchisee Ed Sayegh of Store #33656 in Fontana proudly partnered with Project A-Game to support the Summit High School Cheerleaders in a spirited community event. The cheerleaders showcased their talent and school pride with a special performance in front of the store, creating an exciting and energetic atmosphere for customers and local residents.
As a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication, the cheerleaders were treated to complimentary Slurpees and pizza. The event highlighted the store’s commitment to supporting local youth programs and fostering strong community connections through positive engagement and teamwork.

Balbir Atwal, owner of a 7-Eleven store in Chino Hills, was honored with a $1 million bonus check after his store sold one of the three winning tickets for the historic Powerball jackpot. The special presentation took place on Thursday and recognized the store’s role in one of the largest lottery events in history.
The achievement brought excitement and recognition to both the store and the local community, highlighting the life-changing impact of the winning ticket sale. The presentation served as a celebration of this remarkable milestone and the positive attention it brought to the Chino Hills area.

Franchisee Tarlochan Rangi hosted a highly successful community event that welcomed more than 500 families for a day of celebration and giving. During the event, over 2,000 toys were distributed to children, bringing joy and holiday cheer to families throughout the community.
Guests were also treated to complimentary refreshments, including more than 200 cookies, brownies, and bottles of water. The event reflected Tarlochan’s ongoing commitment to supporting local families and making a positive impact through community outreach and generosity.
